Our theme for the group is Sequoia, which is inspired by the size of a Sequoia tree and the strength that it offers.  Sequoias are one of the largest family of trees in the world, growing up to 300 feet in height.  Due to their size, the trees in all rights should fall over; however, the intricate growth of the root systems together with other Sequoias give them their strength to grow tall and continue to thrive. 

     This is synonymous with the growth of the St. Luke Youth.  It is our intent to give support to our fellow Christians as they grow in their faith with God.  To do this we must also have strong roots, found in our deep relationship with Him.

"Consider this:  You do not support the root,
