May 28th- June 1st: Choir Tour
– See Doyle Register for details
June 3rd – 7th: Souled Out –
Panama City Beach Retreat for Junior and Senior High Youth. The cost
for the trip will be $200 for adults and youth. Non- refundable deposit
of $75 is due by April 20th.
June 15th – 20th: SLSC – See Chris Shelnutt or Loretta Dunbar
for details on becoming a Senior Counselor, CIT, or adult volunteer.
June 28th – July 5th:
Carolina Cross Connection – Mission trip for youth who have
completed the 8th grade and up. Cost for this trip is $225
for youth and adults (cost offset by youth fundraiser). Non- refundable
deposit of $75 is due by March 30th.
July 14th – 18th: VBS – Youth volunteers are needed to work
with all ages. Please contact Loretta Dunbar if you would like to help.
July 20th – 22nd – High Adventure Trip
– Trip to Copperhill, Tennessee will include two nights lodging, meals,
rafting on the Ocoee, ropes course, and choice of horseback riding,
paintball, or mountain biking. Cost for this trip is $150 for youth and
adults. Non- refundable deposit of $75 is due by May 4th.
July 28th – August 1st – Upward Basketball Camp
– Youth volunteers are needed. Please let Taryn know if you are
interested in helping with this basketball camp for K-5th
graders in the
Ministry
Center.
Prior knowledge of basketball is not required, but helpful.
Columbus Catfish Games - April 19th, May 31st,
June 22nd, July 27th;
tickets are $5; game times vary (see calendar)
Columbus Lions Game – May 3rd;
tickets will be ~$15; game time is
7:30pm
